The first attorney Abdulrahman Al Sayed said that the Public Prosecution had completed its investigations in the case of the murder of a policeman and attempted murder of another that took place October 2012 in Eker area. The public prosecution he said ordered the referring of 24 suspects to the higher criminal court nine of which are in custody and the rest are fugitives.
All suspects in the case are accused of first degree murder and attempted murder in addition triggering an explosion with the intention of causing public panic. The suspects are also accused of having in their possession fire crackers, Molotov cocktails, taking part in riots all of which to conduct a terrorist act. The attorney also indicated that all those who were arrested and questioned had admitted taking part in all the attacks they are accused of and confessed to their specific roles.
