Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) announced its participation in the 2014 Bahrain International Air Show during a visit to the Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) conference that took place at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai (UAE).
Attending the signing of the memo of understanding was Kamal bin Ahmed Mohamed, the Minister of Transport along with a delegation from the Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) as well as Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, CEO of Bahrain Airport Company (BAC).
The Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) is a prestigious event poised to once again put the Kingdom of Bahrain in the global spotlight. Now in its third edition, BIAS 2014 has fast become a global calendar event, providing a unique platform for high level international aerospace businesses to come together. Furthermore, the event’s unique location at the Sakhir Airfield offers the perfect venue for demonstrating aircrafts on the ground and in the air.

The Bahrain International Airshow is organised by the Civil Aviation Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain (CAA) in partnership with Farnborough International Ltd (FIL). The Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) is hosted at Sakhir Air Base, Kingdom of Bahrain, adjacent to the Bahrain International Grand Prix Circuit. The event itself takes place on a biennial basis and is highly exclusive with participating companies operating from luxury chalet units. Dates for the upcoming Bahrain International Airshow have been confirmed as 16-18 January 2014
