His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has instructed all concerned sides to adopt measures and decisions that can attract more investments into the kingdom, especially regarding speedy completions of transactions and issuance of licenses for investors.
“He who has chosen Bahrain to host his investments should be shown great and warm welcome,” he said, affirming the need to promote the open-door policy culture among all ministries and government departments in order to ensure easy access to officials and get problems resolved in due time.
HRH Premier was speaking as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace, in the presence of the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, the Speaker of the Representatives Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, the Shura Council Chairman and some MPs, a number of senior officials.
HRH Prime Minister affirmed his constant personal follow up of the work progress in ministries to ensure that the government’s policies to facilitate transactions and eradicate bureaucracy are well underway.
“We will not accept that the interests of the citizens or investors are delayed because of red-tape or slow transactions,” he said, instructing the service ministries to facilitate procedures for investors lest they become obstacles hindering the flow of investments into the country.
He also stressed that the complaints of traders and citizens should be responded to quickly.
