Decision makers and the businesses community in Bahrain will have the opportunity in February to meet with the very famous US author who wrote about the relations between the men and women in the workplace. Dr. John Gray, the author of global best-seller “Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus” will hold two seminars in Bahrain to speak about how to best understand the different ways men and women think.
Dr. Gray’s visit to Manama on the 20th of February 2013 will be his first to the Middle East region. In an evening seminar, Dr. Gray will speak about his book which sold 50 million copies around the world. It was reprinted 10 times in Arabic alone, selling about 14 million copies.
On the same day, Dr. Gray will hold a morning session in which he will shed light on his latest book: “Mars and Venus In the Workplace”, which has the objective of helping business owners, executives, and employees to better understand their employees and colleagues, and significantly improve work relations between them.
The two seminars are an initiative by the Bahrain-based Leaders Institute For Training and Development known as Leaders.
“Human Resources remained the backbone of all organisations whether they are in the public or private sectors, and whatever their size. Recent statistics have shown an increasing interest amongst decision makers to enhance the communication between the two genders, in order to improve productivity and ensure employees collaborate more effectively to achieve organisational goals,” Chris Bragg, Projects Director at Leaders, told a Press conference on Saturday.
“Leaders believe that it is a great opportunity for the business community in Bahrain to have Dr. John Gray, one of the most well-known experts in the field, here in person to give all in Bahrain the chance to exchange expertise and knowledge with him on the best practices to build healthy, productive relationships.”
Bragg said the two seminars are suitable to all sectors of the society, including decision makers, executives, employees, businessmen and businesswomen, students and private individuals.
Mohammed Al-Jaziri, Events and Conferences Manager at Leaders, said the two seminars will have an outstanding impact on their attendees. Topics will include: How to avoid arguments, Discovering different emotional needs, How to communicate difficult feelings, How to ask for support, and many others.
