Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, was received by the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) at its special pavilion in the 19th Al-Ayam Cultural Fair.
The Minister praised the great role undertaken by the Royal Charity Organization in compliance with the directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, under the leadership of RCO’s Board of Trustee’s Chairman, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in providing all sorts of welfare to orphans and widows inside the Kingdom of Bahrain, and huge efforts in providing relief assistance to beleaguered brethren in sisterly countries. The Minister praised the humanitarian assistance provided by the Royal Charity Organization in order to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people who are besieged in Gaza Strip.
The Royal Charity Organization participates in Al-Ayam Cultural Fair with a special corner comprising introductory photography, brochures, publications which portray the accomplishments of HM the King and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Kingdom of Bahrain’s achievements as well as introduction of the services provided by the Royal Charity Organization for the welfare of orphans, widows and humanitarian assistance besides relief campaigns abroad in addition to development and investment projects.
The fair includes the mobile library which is part of a series of educational projects provided in order to acquaint children with the Royal Charity Organization and to provide them with scientific information, knowledge and useful culture. The mobile library is mounted on a peregrine van which consists of service facility in the form of a modern integrated library including educational books suitable for all age groups with space allocated for reading and painting studio and laptops.
