Kuwait Finance House Bahrain (KFH-B) has successfully redesigned and developed the Bank’s website with the latest Responsive Web Design Technique. The Bank is one of the first Banks to commercially and globally adopt the latest Responsive Web Design Techniques in the new website.
The Responsive Web Design is a technique whereby the website adapts itself to any device accessing the site, be it via mobiles (Androids, iPhones, or Blackberries), tablets (eg. iPads and Tabs), and laptops or desktops. This means that the KFHB website, no longer needs to support a separate application for mobiles or a mobile version of the site. The website’s interface has been changed to be more simple and easier to access information. A number of valuable tools have been added such as calculators for real estate finance, auto finance, Baytik Ijara card finance, and zakat. All maps for the branches, showrooms and ATMs have been integrated with Google Maps, which makes it easier to navigate and find the locations on all devices. And lastly easy direct access has also been provided for both Retail and Corporate eBanking sites.
“With the implementation of the latest and best technologies, the new website will ensure to provide KFHB respective personnel with easy maintenance; provide clients with easy navigation and access to corporate information; and will help establish KFH-Bahrain as one of the best and advanced banks in technologically,” Paul Mercer, Executive Manager at KFH-Bahrain, said.
“We are committed to provide the best financial services to our customers. These initiatives are very important for us in order to become a leading bank in providing the best financial products and services in the market,” Mercer.
This technique which has been recommended by experts such as Google, completely changes the way websites are planned, designed and built. With over 40% of internet traffic coming in from mobile devices, the Bank, like other organizations, now has to cater for all kinds of devices. In addition, the new website has been designed to comply with the best practices and technology in terms of ISO270001 standards and CBB regulations.
