Minister Fakhro visits local markets

Within the framework of weekly follow up the Ministry of Industry and Commerce led by the Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro to local markets in order to check markets movement in the Kingdom, the Minister and a number of ministry’s officials visited Manama Central Market for vegetables and fruits.

During his inspection in Manama Central Markets for vegetables and fruits and was briefed on sale and purchase movement. Ibrahim Al Amir pointed that the prices dropped from 20% to 25% due to the availability of abundance of local production and increase the number of agricultural investors. Ibrahim Al Amir affirmed the drop of many varieties such as apple, kiwi, lemon and Egyptian oranges and the price of bananas is BD6.5 per box.
