State Minister for Information Affairs Samira Rajab, the government’s official Spokesperson, anticipated the National Consensus Dialogue to be held soon, either by end of this month or early in February.
“Everything banks on the extent of readiness of the parties involved,” she said in a statement said, published the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
She pointed out that there will be no preset conditions by any side and only consensual visions will be taken into consideration and processed through constitutional institutions.
She highlighted the Government’s resolve to ensure success of the dialogue and to come up with a consensual vision to put an end to the unusual situation in Bahrain.
She noted that the prospective dialogue will be exclusive to the Bahraini people for it is political and of purely internal aspect.
She criticised recent calls to take to the streets in unauthorized marches, describing them as a reflection of some political parties’ carelessness about resumption of the National Consensus Dialogue which aims to serve the supreme national interest.
