The Shaikh Nasser Award for Youth Creativity is to go global in its third edition.
Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa launched the new-look prize.
This came as he patronised the final ceremony of the Shaikh Nasser Award for Youth Creativity – GCC Chapter at the Shaikh Abdulaziz Auditorium at Sakhir Campus.
The ceremony was attended by ministers and officials representing the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, the General Organisation for Youth and Sport and the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
Shaikh Nasser honoured the GCC youth committee members, representatives of GCC youth and sport ministries and jury members in addition to the winners in categories of science creativity, graphics, architecture, photography, fine arts, music and Nabatean poetry.
Shaikh Nasser congratulated the winners, paying tribute to the GCC youth for their resolve to achieve their ambitions and contribute to the development of their countries.
He stressed the importance of the award as a catalyst to dig in untapped talents and showcase creative projects, describing GCC youth as the real winner.
