The Kingdom of Bahrain’s leadership, government and people celebrate throughout this week the 12th anniversary of the National Action Charter (NAC) which had been almost unanimously endorsed by 98.4%% vote of the Bahraini people in the 2001 nationwide plebiscite.
This year’s celebration of the National Action Charter’s anniversary coincide with the resumption of National Consensus Dialogue (NCD) on the political theme begun last Sunday (10 February 2013) which reflects the successful ongoing reform project initiated by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa since His Majesty’s accession in 1999.
The Kingdom of Bahrain is one of the first nations which had initiated its own modernization, development and reformation project intended to consolidate sustainable political, constitutional, legal and socio-economic development even before the advent of the so-called “Arab Spring” hence thwarting any external pressures or foreign meddling in the Bahrain’s internal affairs.
The Kingdom of Bahrain firmly and confidently continues its ambitious ongoing modernization and development march regardless of obstacles, sabotage or conspiracy in order to satisfy the needs and aspirations of Bahraini citizens in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision2030 under the wise leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander.
