The GCC Secretary-General, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, rejected Iran’s proposal to include conditions in Syria and the Kingdom of Bahrain on the agenda of its meeting with the G5+1 due to be held by the end of this month for negotiating the Iranian nuclear program.
Dr. Al-Zayani said that the GCC States absolutely reject these Iranian attempts which illustrate Iran’s blatant interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries and continual efforts to destabilize the security of some Arab countries.
The GCC Secretary-General described Iran’s attempts as a manipulation of the Iranian negotiation dossier with the G5+1 by mixing political cards, circumvention of its requirements regarding these negotiations and a continuation of Iran’s procrastination and non-seriousness on reaching a final solution to alleviate regional and international fears regarding its controversial nuclear program.
Dr. Al-Zayani urged the G5+1 to reject these provocative Iranian attempts.
