This year, LCF with the support of Zain Telecom, through its “RISING STARS” programme of networking events is helping to inspire school leavers and undergraduates to consider a more entrepreneurial approach to entering the work market.
Entrepreneurs succeed through determination with support and guidance of mentors. LCF and the sponsors of RISING STARS, such as Zain Telecommunications are supporting, helping young people follow their dreams and succeed in life and in business.
Throughout the coming year every LCF Business network event will have guest speakers from across the world who are inspirational leaders and entrepreneurs. Young people will be showcasing their work and workshops and mentoring sessions for young people preparing to begin their working careers will be offered.
Along with opportunities to meet business leaders, entrepreneurs and others, there will be a fashion walk by young people both able and disabled showcasing their works of art created on the same day of the event.
LCF events are always fun and enjoyable; bring a tee shirt, write a caption on it describing your aspirations and enter the “paint your dream t shirt” competition. The t shirt competition will be followed by a young person poetry competition, entitled “RISING STARS.”
The judging panel includes Samya Hussein, Zain Telecom marketing manager, Hamra Alam co-founder of Lights Camera fashion, Nibras from Clotheline and Graham Nugent of MANDEVCO International.
“More than 40% of the proceeds from the charity donations will go to the Aalia centre, the Wafa Centre and the children of the Rehabilitation institute and Autism (RIA). Know your dreams and make your passion a true success for you, your loved ones and the nation,” LFC in a statement said.
The next LCF event will be held at the RIA centre in Adliya on 27th February 2013 at 4 to 8 PM.
