The security forces intervened to disperse groups of saboteurs who sowed chaos following the mourning observed for a rioter killed in Al-Daih.
“The thugs targeted public facilities, blocked Budaiya Highway with lamp-posts, rocks and garbage bins, and poured oil”, Northern Police director-general said.
The terrorists hurled Molotov cocktails and stones at the security forces, prompting riot police to intervene and restore public order.
