Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions signed an agreement of understanding and partnership with the Turkish Association for Sciences, Culture and the Arts.
The agreement was signed on behalf of “Ta’Ayoush-Bahrain Society,” by Yousif Bozbon, and by Dr. Mohammed Al-Aadel, the Chairman of the Turkish-Arab Association on behalf of “TASCA.”
On this occasion, Yousif Bozbon highlighted that signing the agreement came within the work scheduled programme of the Society throughout the year. He also said that the cooperation with “TASCA” is only an added value to the application and implementation of the objectives of the Society. These objectives aim at integrating the dialogue’s culture, coexistence, and respect of the other with the components of the Bahraini Society, as they are considered core key to the stability and progress of societies.
Yousif Bozboon added that the agreement between the two parties will open cooperation horizons between them to spread the Arabic Language and culture in Turkey and its neighbouring countries in Balkans and Central Asia, in addition to informing about the Turkish language and culture in Kingdom of Bahrain and GCC countries.
There will be also cooperation in the cultural area through publishing and translation of a collection of books in Turkish Language about Bahrain to inform the Turkish elite, and the academic and research institutions in Turkey about the history of Bahrain, and its prestigious civilization.
For his part, the Chairman of (TASCA) said “We are a civil organization, with international character located in the Turkish capital Ankara, and aim to build solid communication and cooperation bridges between the scientific, cultural, civil, Arab and Turkish elite media, away from any political or ideological enticements. The aim is to contribute in achieving close ties between the Arab and Turkish peoples, and reinforce partnership horizons in all various areas between the two parties.”
Mohammed Al-Aadel also said “It’s our honor to have (TASCA) as an honorary ambassador for Kingdom of Bahrain in the Turkish arena, particularly in the media, academic and civil surroundings to inform the Turkish society about the culture and heritage of Bahrain, as well as its history and civilized contributions.”
