The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, emphasized that the current visit of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to Japan comes about one year after the epoch-making visit of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Japan which had opened great scopes for fruitful cooperation.
During the visit thirteen memoranda of understanding have been signed pertaining to health, education, oil and gas, research and development, the Minister said, pointing out that bilateral Bahraini-Japanese ties are based on mutual understanding and coordination in all spheres.
The Minister said HRH the Crown Prince conducted series of important meetings during his visit which will contribute in activation of mutual cooperation programs and pushes forward the implementation of projects in the public and the private sector in both countries.
