Former Chief Justice of Baluchistan, Justice Retd Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, has been appointed as the caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan by the Election Commission of Pakistan after deliberations of two days, it was announced on Sunday.
Chief Election Commissioner Justice Retd Fakahruddin G Ebrahim in brief statement made before the media at the Election Commission of Pakistan premises in Islamabad and said that they had discussed all four names given by the Parliamentary Committee for the caretaker prime minister.
After announcing the election, the Chief Election Commissioner said that the caretaker Prime Minister Justice Khoso will help to ensure the fare, free and impartial elections in the country set for May 11, 2013.
It is to be noted that Parliamentary Committee had failed to resolve the deadlock over the appointment of caretaker Prime Minister.
