Rahman Al Jowder, 5th from right and Donya Haji Ghulam, 4th from left along with the Chairman, Board member, MD & CEO, and Executive management[/caption]Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain (KFH-B) announced the launch of its “Fursan Baytik” employees’ recognition award, which aimed at recognising the achievements of employees in the bank based on a set of criteria that considers their achievements both during work and in their own time.
Three employees, A.Jalil Mohammed Janahi, Ahmed A.Rahman Al Jowder and Donya Haji Ghulam, were selected as the first employees to be awarded in this programme. Yaqoub Majed, the Chairman of KFH-B along with Mohammed Shaikh Ishaq, Board Member, and Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO honoured these employees and awarded them with recognition gifts and certificates of appreciation during the annual staff gathering, which was held recently.
“The Human Resources Department is delighted to announce the launch of the new “Fursan Baytik” employee recognition program which aims to appreciate the efforts of the Bank’s employees who are working hard in order to contribute to the ongoing success of the Bank. This program acknowledges our colleagues for individual and team accomplishments. It also provides a systematic method for acknowledging achievements of employees and publicly announcing such accomplishments to all departments within the Bank,” Sattam Algosaibi, Executive Manager and Head of HR and Corporate Banking Group, said.
“On a quarterly basis, all Department Heads will be invited to nominate employees with outstanding achievements for the recognition award. The HR Committee will select up to three nominees every quarter that fall within the pre-defined criteria of excellence in diplomacy, enthusiasm, positive attitude, reliability, providing an outstanding level of service to a customer, leadership, teamwork, dedication to the team objectives and active participation in team achievement, and outstanding effectiveness at work,” Algosaibi added.
“The HR Committee will also consider employee’s achievements that are pursued and attained for professional certificates or academic degrees, and outstanding contribution to the public service through social responsible activities.”
