Y.K Almoayyed & Sons’ EDMAJ program hosted a medical campaign for their warehouse, Ford, and Nissan employees and set up a health check up camp at each location.
“We want to extend the support to our employees by considering programmes that reach them personally and show them the company’s commitment to their best interest. By setting up a medical campaign across all divisions, we are extending our support to our valuable employees and showing them that at YK Almoayyed, we care about their health and well being,” Sonu Duggal, Group HR Manager at YK Almoayyed, said.
A basic check up was carried out to each employee, including blood pressure, blood sugar and Body Mass Index (BMI) tests. A doctor from the American Mission Hospital was present to discuss the results with each patient as part of a one-on-one consultation; if there were any signs of serious threats, the patient was directed to visit a hospital for a full extensive check.
The first YK Almoayyed & Sons’ medical campaign was first carried out in 2012 and after its success, it was decided to host another in 2013 as part of a three day campaign across other divisions and departments.
