Alba’s on-going drive to maintain a zero accident work environment for employees is generating positive results on a plant wide basis as the company announced that it has achieved 4 million work hours without Loss Time Injury (LTI).
Alba’s Chief Executive, Tim Murray along with members of the Executive Management Team and other managers marked this safety milestone by meeting employees at the gates and congratulating them on their involvement in this success.
Employees were further commended on their commitment to be proactive on matters related to safety, filing reports on near-miss incidents, and for showing intolerance towards unsafe behaviour.
