Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al- Khalifa who held talks with the Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa and Assistant Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al-Khalifa and reviewed the level pf preparations for hosting the F1 Grand Prix 2013.
The Minister was briefed about the NPRA preparations coordinated with the Bahrain International Circuit for the upcoming Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, scheduled to be held from April 19th to 21st.
He said that the hosting of this international sport event attracts the interests of all Bahrainis as everyone looks to make it a success.
The minister gave directives to provide the required services for F1 visitors through all borders with speed, accuracy and competency, hailing the NPRA efforts to issue all types of visas.
The Undersecretary of Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs expressed thanks and appreciation to the support and guidance of the minister.
He highlighted that NPRA is ready to provide its services to the Kingdom’s visitors, through security plans to accommodate the expected flux of F1 visitors at border entry points.
