The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) participated in the GCC World Skills 2013 Expo, which was held under the patronage of Dr Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education at the Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) with the presence of VIP figures and representatives of GCC countries.
Bapco is a member of the event’s Organizing Committee assigned to overseeing the skills competitions which are held during the activity. Bapco participates in the exhibition with a unique stand showcasing occupational skills and ways of developing and fulfilling vocational requirements in Kingdom of Bahrain. Exhibition contests include a number of events and activities that aim to develop the skills of students at different educational levels in Kingdom of Bahrain. Winners will be nominated to participate in the grand competition to be held on GCC level. GCC World Skills 2013 Expo is a valuable opportunity for students and highly skilled youth to polish their skills and develop their potentials and experience, in addition to motivating them to continually improve their technical abilities and strive towards better achievements. The events also aims to provide young people with necessary practical experience aimed at improving quality and performance, as well as meeting future challenges of vocational skills at domestic, regional and global levels by keeping pace with rapid recent developments in this field worldwide.
