Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met here with the NATO’s Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation General Meiczyslaw Bieniek, currently on visit to the Kingdom.
Shaikh Khalifa lauded the outstanding Bahrain-NATO relations, affirming the need to consolidate bilateral cooperation and coordination further in order achieve common interests and promote security and stability across the region.
The NATO delegation was briefed on BDF’s role and participation in international peace-keeping missions.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief also reviewed with General Meiczyslaw Bieniek ways of enhancing joint military cooperation and coordination, as well as issues of mutual concern.
Director of BDF’s General Command’s Court Major-General Youssef Ahmed Al Jalahma, Director of Planning, Organisation and Technology Rear-Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah, the Assistant Chief of Staff for Operation Major-General Dheyab Saqr Al-Nuaimi and the members of NATO delegation attended.
