A group of students from the Busaiteen Primary School for Girls visited Dar Al Naft and HRH Princess Sabeeka Park. The visit is part of Bapco’s ongoing efforts to enhance the concept of social responsibility towards the civil institutions of Bahrain’s community. During the visit, the students toured inside the various sections of Dar Al Naft and were briefed on its collections and possessions.
The students also visited HRH Princess Sabeeka Park located in Awali, and viewed the rare plants exist in the park. Upon the conclusion of the visit, the School’s officials expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to BAPCO’s management for organizing the visit, hailing Bapco’s role as a key supporter and major contributor of Bahrain’s national economy. HRH Princess Sabeeka Park was opened in February 2010 in Awali. It occupies an area of 43,000 square meters. The park is lush with greenery and is designed in a unique traditional pattern. The park features entertainment facilities, including children play areas and others in addition to a model scientific laboratory for renewable energy. The park enhances Bapco’s leading role in the community and affirms its ongoing commitment to establishing major environmental projects in the Kingdom.
