HM King, Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, received at his residence in the Thai capital Bangkok Thai Prime Minister, Yingluck Shinawatra.
During the meeting, they discussed the existing close bilateral relations linking the two countries and their peoples in various areas, where HM the King and the Thai Prime Minister stressed the common keenness of both countries to strengthen these relations further.
Both sides also discussed boosting cooperation between the GCC member-states and the countries of the ASEAN in various fields, including the economic, trade, food security and energy areas.
Later in the day, HM the King hosted a luncheon in honour of the Thai Prime Minister. The banquet was also attended by a number of Thai government officials.
His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa held a reception ceremony this evening at his residence in the Capital City Bangkok.
The reception ceremony was attended by Chancellor TYPE Kamul Tafacul, the member of the Royal Thai advisory Board and representative of HM the King of Thailand, a number of ministers in the Thai government, the delegation accompanying HM the King and senior officials.
The reception ceremony was also attended by businessmen and heads of commercial, industrial and financial companies in Thailand and Bahraini businessmen and ambassadors of the GCC and Arab countries in the Kingdom of Thailand and guests.
