HRH Premier highlighted the importance of enhancing official and parliamentary rapprochement with other countries, as the best way to bolster the Kingdom’s ties with them and open up new cooperation horizons.
This came as HRH Prime Minister received at the Gudaibiya Palace on Sunday, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, a number of senior officials, including the Speaker of the Representatives Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and a number of MPs.
During the audience, HRH Premier stressed that government officials should follow up and verify the issues raised by the media on the ground, noting that media outlets today speak on behalf of the citizens, and, therefore, officials have to respond to all what they publish.
The Prime Minister also emphasised that implementation of projects should not be delayed for whatever reasons, adding that the government shall never accept that the interests of the citizens, for whose benefits projects are set up, are disrupted by delays.
