HRH Premier praised the crucial role played by the National Assembly in national affairs and key contributions through its cooperation with the Executive Branch in supporting the development march.
HRH Prime Minister pointed out that the kingdom boasts of advanced legislations, adding that cooperation between the executive and legislative branches will enable the country to develop its laws further so as to cope with the latest changes and consolidate its pioneering role.
HRH Premier lauded the Representatives Council’s Speaker’s winning of the Parliamentary Excelence Award, praising the respect and appreciation enjoyed by Bahraini personalities inside and outside the kingdom thanks to their landmark achievements.
“Compromising the deep-rooted Bahraini social fabric will not work with a highly-patriotric and cohesive people like the Bahraini one,” he said.
HRH Premier re-affirmed the government’s constant resolve to dedicated itself in the service of the citizens in order to meet their needs and ensure their well-being, stressing his personal follow-up of the performance of ministries, particularly the service ones, so as to assume their roles towards the citizens and ensure their access to all government services.
HRH Premier also reviewed with those present the latest regional and global developments, underlining that the region has no interest in being a hotbed of crises and conflicts which will impede the development plans of its peoples.
HRH Prime Minister pointed out that leaders of GCC countries have achieved a lot for their peoples and made tremendous efforts to ensure their welfare, calling for the need to protect those landmark accomplishments and go ahead with efforts aiming to improve the citizens’ lives.
