The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Bahrain Centre, is organizing the GCC CMA Summit 2013 on 2nd and 3rd May 2013 in Bahrain titled ‘Management Accountants-Partners in Progress’ under the patronage of Dr. Hassan Fakhro, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Kingdom of Bahrain.
The venue of the programme is Alfanar Hall, Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Diplomatic Area, Manama Kingdom of Bahrain. This event is part of the several Professional Development programs being organized by the Centre and is expected to be attended by its members, students, and professionals from Bahrain, other GCC countries and India. The first session will kick off session at 6pm on Thursday, May 2nd.
Dr. Hassan Fakhro, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Kingdom of Bahrain will deliver the patron speech. The event will include several panel discussions and interactive sessions by local and international experts on topics of interest such as ‘Management Accountants as Business Partners’, ‘Recession and profession – CMA initiatives’, Effective cost control techniques for manufacturing and service industries, IT and Management Accounting, Strategic Financial and Risk Management, Currency Unification in current scenario, and other topic of interest to Management Accountants and Industry.
There will be more than 25 top notch speakers from India, Bahrain and other GCC countries.
The event timings are Thursday, 2nd May 2013 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Friday, 3rd May 2013 from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. The event is open to members and invited guests. The organizers are expecting 200 delegates in this event.
