Tamkeen formerly known as Labour Fund has emerged as a pioneering organisation promoting and supporting the public private sector partnership model (PPP) in the Kingdom
One of the latest initiatives was Tamkeen support to Bahrain IT EXPO which received overwhelming response from the visitors. According to exhibitors, the joint effort by public and private sectors and the great role played by eGoverment authority, the organizer of the event, were the keys of its success.
“The fact that Tamkeen supported exhibitors in this expo caught the attention of many visitors,” Isa Tariq, from Gulf Future Business, a consulting and business development company, said. “Visitors were interested to know more about Tamkeen’s support which the private sector companies are getting.”
“Through several programmes, Tamkeen provides support up to 80% for essential services to eligible companies, these services might be marketing, auditing, participation in exhibitions and, many others,” he added.
Tariq said that his company fulfils all required procedures for its clients in order them to have the support.

Bahrain Pavilion at GITEX is facilitating the slots and its utilities, as well as common marketing opportunities for the participants.
Noureen Khader, the General Manager of Think Smart, training and developing company assured that the expo was a great opportunity to light on Bahrain Achievers, the program that offer Bahraini youths the chance to have training courses that will provide them eventually with better careers.
