Expatriate community in Bahrain is set to show solidarity with HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister at an event titled Cultural Diversity is theme of
“Bahrain for All, All for Bahrain.”
Family Fun day Out “Bahrain for All, All for Bahrain” is the theme of a community event that will take place in Prince Khalifa bin Salman Park, Hidd on Friday 3rd May from 4pm onwards.
The vision of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has become the ethos of this event. The first of its kind in Bahrain, organisers aim to host many similar events to bring communities within the country together to share their talent and culture.
Baluch, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Young Goan, Nepal, Perkibar-Indonesian, Kerala, Karnataka and Filipino Club have cultural stage shows as well as street performers to keep visitors entertained. Bringing these communities together shows solidarity and unity in Bahrain, which have been home to many for generations. Children’s activities and over 100 market stalls will be available selling food, books, clothes and jewellery amongst many other items. Shuttle services will be provided to the nine participating clubs to bring members from their clubs to the venue and back. Discover Islam will have stalls available to share information and offer buses to their members to bring people to and from the venue. There will be call for prayers onsite and an Imam to lead prayers.
Entrance is free and all families are welcome to come and enjoy a family fun day out.
