His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed the government’s keenness to bring about modernisation and development in all fields, and desire to avail of the Japanese expertise, especially the industrial and technological sectors.
This came as HRH Premier received at the Gudaibiya Palace the former Japanese Prime Minister Yasou Fukuda hailed the remarkable progress the kingdom is currently witnessing in various fields, and lauded the pivotal role played by HRH Prime Minister at all levels, especially the economic one.
HRH Premier reviewed with Fukuda the advanced level of Bahraini-Japanese relations and cooperation, boosted especially after the visits of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to Tokyo.
HRH Prime Minister asserted that bilateral relations are based on mutual respect , expressing hope to take advantage of the outstanding joint ties to enhance joint cooperation so as to achieve common goals of the two friendly countries.
The Prime Minister lauded Japan’s supportive stances towards the Kingdom, praising the pivotal role played by Japan’s Ambassador to Bahrain in supporting and consolidating bilateral cooperation.
Former Japanese Prime Minister Yasou Fukuda expressed delight at HRH Premier’s keenness to bolster ties with his country, saying that Japan is looking forward to the Premier’s acceptance of its invitation to visit it as soon as possible.
