Around 30 Bahrain Petroleum Company Bapco employees were among the workforce honored as part of Bahrain’s Labour Day celebrations.
For the first time in the Kingdom’s history, two celebrations were held during under the aegis of the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions and the Bahrain Trade Unions Federation at the Gulf International Convention Center and the Crown Plaza under the patronage of His Majesty the King who delegated Jameel Humaidan, the Minister of Labour to attend the celebrations, in the presence of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Board of Directors members, senior officials of the companies and awardees.
Present from Bapco were Abdulrahim Fakhro Acting General Manager Human Resources and Administration, Faisal Kaladari Manager Employee Relations Acting Manager Human Resources and other officials. During the ceremony held by the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions held at the Crowne Plaza, 15 Bapco employees were honored out of total of 218. At the ceremony of the Bahrain Trade Unions Federation, 15 Bapco employees were honored out of total of 155.
