The second session of the Joint Action Council meeting, hosted by Manama, recommended dialogue as an approach to “bridge up the gap between religions”.
Participants stressed that dialogue should primarily be focused on common denominators and promoting them and, then, looking into differences and working out moderate solutions for them.
They also reviewed international experiences that led to achieving national reconciliation after conflicts caused by religious and doctrinal differences.
They spotlighted hot spots of religious conflicts in the world and talked about extremist approach, especially following the recent explosion in Boston.
