DBWC extends support to SMEs

Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) has announced its support to The Business Factory, a business expo aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners, held at the IMAX Theatre in Meydan, Dubai. Organised by Heels & Deals, a Dubai-based networking group for female entrepreneurs, The Business Factory has been created to provide support to all Small and Medium Enterprises and new ventures in the UAE. The event will feature inspirational workshops, networking sessions and one-to-one mentoring sessions with seasoned professionals.

“The UAE offers a highly conducive environment for SMEs given the country’s excellent infrastructure, strong government support, and an array of business incentives and the ease of setting up operations. These factors have greatly encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs in the UAE, including a large number of women, to pursue their dreams and set up their own businesses. Our support to The Business Factory is in line with our broader efforts to empower the country’s business women, who are pivotal to the UAE’s sustained socio-economic development,” DBWC President Raja Al Gurg said.
