A group of Bahrain Polytechnic students recently visited Dar Al Nakheel and HRH Princess Sabeeka Park in Awali.
The visit aimed to brief students on the contents and sections of the park, in addition to shedding light on the various services provided by the park in serving the community. The group visited Dar Al Nakheel, a renewable energy facility, the first of its kind in the Arab world as it includes a variety of renewable energy resources such as solar and wind power and energy to generate hydrogen fuel cells and electric power.
The students were also introduced to Bapco’s recent pilot project to generate solar energy. The students said that the visit was extremely useful as it provided them with valuable information and knowledge on Bapco. On this occasion, Bapco expressed its pride in organizing such visits within the framework of its ongoing desire to enhance communication with various organizations of the community. Upon the conclusion of the visit, the delegates expressed thanks to Bapco management for organizing this useful and successful visit and wished Bapco further progress in fostering the national development of the Kingdom.
