Dr. Sharifa Swar, Counseling, Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavior Specialist at Batelco Center for Victims of Domestic Violence conducted a “Self Esteem” training course for TRA’s staff. The course aims to enhance self-esteem, assessing and analyzing positive aspects and features and recognize the skills and capabilities of the staff in order for it to be implemented positively in their daily life.
Dr. Sharifa discussed human, organizational and life skills, interpersonal skills, self-management and how to reflect a positive outlook when facing pressures and challenges by providing examples and models of the cases she has dealt with, asserting that self-confidence and success on practical and personal levels are the result of self-esteem.
On the other hand, the participants expressed their appreciation to TRA for its continuous interest in the organization of such courses and workshops that contribute to the development of their knowledge at all levels; personal and functional, and they also thanked Dr. Sharifa for her interesting method in presenting the topic.
