The United Nation’s public administration expert and Arab Women Institute’s (AWLI)’s member cum director of Moroccan Ministry of Interior (MMOI)’s Administrative and Technical Training Department, Dr. Najat Zarrouq, emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and joint coordination between countries in order to set up suitable frame and policy to enable women’s empowerment.
This came during the 4th workshop as part of the 2013 United Nations Public Service Forum (UNPSF) organized at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and discussed the theme Public service provision for the sake of egalitarianism between both genders.
Dr. Najat Zarroug expounded on international experiences in the field of close assimilation of gender equality citing the Moroccan Kingdom’s experience as a model winner of the top prize in Africa for assimilation of gender approach in strategic plans of the training department in the Moroccan Ministry of Interior (MMOI). This workshop comes as part of efforts intended to assimilate gender approach.
The participants discusses women’s cause as a crucial issue for all nations, advanced or developing, which derives its foundations, legitimacy and deep-fathomed roots from the universal principles of human rights.
