ASRY, the leading ship and rig repair yard in the Arabian Gulf, repaired two ships, each from globally leading fleets, and garnered positive reviews. VShips USA and Samcoeach docked their first ships at ASRY recently and praised the yards performance and competitiveness. Both fleets are internationally renowned and their opinions are the latest vote of confidence in ASRY’s capability to handle the world’s most complicated repair scopes.
“Our first experience with ASRY was very good indeed. The yard is very well equipped for all situations. Ship Managers and team leaders were very good to work with. They were very knowledgeable and had a good understanding of the Superintendents needs,” Alan Dobbie, Superintendent with VShips, said.
“VShips docked their bulk carrier, Eastern Power, and Dobbie went on to compare his experience of ASRY as one of the best in the world, “Sembawang was always my favorite yard. However I would go as far to say that ASRY is every bit as good,” he said.
Arnaud Gibrais, technical superintendent of the Samco Europe, had similarly positive feedback after docking the crude oil tanker with ASRY. “Our first experience at ASRY was good; it has a family spirit, which is nice.”
ASRY’s global reputation has seen sharp climbs in recent years, as new facilities come online, expansion projects come to fruition and more aggressive global marketing has pushed the ASRY name deeper into the international market.
