Minister of State for Information Affairs, and Official Spokesperson of the Government, Samira Ibrahim bin Rajab, has lauded the steady growth of the cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the existing strategic partnership between them.
Speaking as she received the Director-General of UNIDO’s Office in Bahrain Dr. Hashim Suleiman, she praised UNIDO’s efforts to support industrial development in the kingdom, back Bahrain’s pioneering initiatives in developing small and medium enterprises, protect environment, coordinate with the concerned sides in the fields of training, exchange expertise and organize specialised events and conferences, which, she added, serves sustainable economic development.
Dr. Hashim Suleiman lauded the adoption of the Bahraini model for training and rehabilitating youth entrepreneurs by all countries involved in the networks of UNIDO’s Investment and Technology Promotion Office.
He asserted that Bahrain offers a perfect environment for attracting foreign investments in light of its distinguished developed legislative framework, diverse financial, trade and administrative incentives and qualified and highly-trained human cadres in all work and production sectors.
