Bahrain's parliament approves the budget 2013-14

The House of Representatives has approved the two-year State’s Public Budget for Financial Years 2013-2014, associated with Royal Decree No.: 76/2012.
The House of Representatives endorsed the bill of the two-year public budget during its session this morning presided over by House Speaker, Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani.
The bill of the State’s Public Budget for both fiscal years 2013-2014, associated with Royal Decree No.: 76/2012 has been approved by majority of MPs who voted in favor of its approval, meanwhile 7 MPs abstained.

After the House of Representative’s approval of the bill of the budget, the Minister of Finance, Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa, expressed gratitude and appreciation to the House of Representatives for its discussion of the bill of the budget and its approval, with special thanks to the chairmen and members of both the Parliamentary Committee on Finance and the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation, accentuating that “our ambitions for all citizens are great but should be connected with reality and available potentials”.
