The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) organized a blood donation campaign in collaboration with King Hamad University Hospital, as part of Bapco’s ongoing efforts to support community welfare.
The activity was held under the theme of “Give the gift that keeps on living… Donate Blood”. Around 100 donors took part in the campaign. Naji Ahmed, Bapco’s Public Relations Manger underlined Bapco’s pride in this campaign.
“We take pride in organizing this national activity which reflects BAPCO’s commitment in fostering key programs & activities in support of community welfare,” he said. “We sincerely thank the medical team of the King Hamad University Hospital for their dedicated role in supporting the campaign and ensuring its aspired success,” he said. The campaign witnessed a participation of over 100 employees who stressed their eagerness to be part of the campaign wishing it further success. The campaign is envisaged as part of Bapco’s policies aimed to enhance its wide participation in community activities. Upon the conclusion of the activity, Naji Ahmed thanked the Organizing Committee for the good organization of the event, and thanked all donors who took part in this noble activity.
