The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) received the delegation of TEACH Fellowship Programme during their visit to the Kingdom in coordination with the Arab American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain.
The visit was a part of the TEACH Fellowship programme which aims at enhancing the cultural exchange between educators in the United States and the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries (GCC). The visitors visited Dar Al-Naft where they listened to a brief presentation on the discovery of oil in Bahrain and GCC countries. Then, the guests visited Bapco Club and were informed on its different facilities and activities throughout the year. Upon their visit to the refinery, the group was welcomed by General Manager Major Engineering Projects Acting General Manager Engineering, Abdul Jabbar Abdul Karim.
During the visit, the group was introduced to different projects implemented by Bapco, Refinery facilities and main operations. During the tour, the delegates had the opportunity to meet with a number of company’s officials were they inquired about the operations conducted by Bapco. Upon the conclusion of the visit, the delegates expressed their sincere thanks for the visit, hailing the advanced technology of Bapco and the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing Bapco continued progress and prosperity.
