Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is set to host a major recruitment drive in Brazil, following the successful launch of its Sao Paulo – Abu Dhabi services.
Specialists from Etihad Airways’ recruitment team will be in Sao Paulo on Wednesday 10 July looking to employ hundreds of Brazilian men and women to join its ranks in Abu Dhabi as members of its award-winning cabin crew team including Diamond First Class In-Flight chefs and Pearl Business Class Food and Beverage Managers.
Details of the recruitment campaign were unveiled by James Hogan, Etihad Airways’ President and Chief Executive Officer, at a media conference in Sao Paulo to celebrate the launch of the airline’s new Brazil – UAE flights.

The recruitment day will take place in Sao Paulo on Wednesday 10 July and will be by invitation only.

New cabin crew members undergo a six week training program in Abu Dhabi, which includes all aspects of cabin safety and service delivery. The training is conducted at Etihad Airways’ state-of-the-art Training Academy.
The airline employs people from more than 125 nationalities, reflecting the global reach of the airline and underscoring the multicultural nature of the Etihad Airways’ team.
More than 90 Brazilian nationals currently work for Etihad Airways, including 23 pilots and 28 cabin crew. All are based in the United Arab Emirates and enjoy various benefits including medical insurance and housing support.
