GCC Chief applauds Bahrain’s efforts for hosting UN Forum

Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani welcomed hosting the forum in Bahrain, adding that the move is in tribute to the Kingdom’s efforts and pioneering position in the field of public service, praising Bahrain’s strides in this regard.

He lauded the excellent organisation of the forum, noting that it reflects the kingdom’s civilisation aspect and capacity to host international event, calling upon GCC countries to take advantage of the experts’ meeting in order to develop public services further.

He also congratulated Bahrain, Oman and the UAE for winning the UN Public Service Awards for 2013.
