HM the King congratulated the board on their appointment, wishing them success in achieving the society’s goals and contributing to the Kingdom’s progress and prosperity. He said establishing the society is part of Bahrain’s reform and modernization march to support the economic and commercial movement, pointing out the constructive role of these sectors as well as Bahraini businessmen and traders in supporting the national economy.
HM the King confirmed his constant support to this vital sector to help it continue its effective role in bringing about achievements and reinforcing Bahrain’s pioneering economic status which has been able to gain regional and international trust by attracting financial and commercial investments.
HM King expressed appreciation of Bahraini economic and commercial functions and their role in consolidating comprehensive development in Bahrain. He praised Bahraini businessmen and traders who exerted all efforts to reinforce Bahrain’s commercial status in the region.
HM also expresses keenness that the Bahraini Businessmen Society will perform its role in supporting investment and creating the best environment to strengthen the national economy, and attract foreign investments in order to achieve all comprehensive development goals. He affirmed that Bahrain accords enormous importance to the industrial and commercial sector and will spare no effort in supporting it.
HM King reviewed with the society’s board their future projects and programmes so as to continue their role in serving the national economy and bolstering Bahrain’s economic, commercial and investment status. He also underscored cohesion and national unity among members of the Bahraini business community, wishing all every success in serving Bahrain and the Bahraini people.
