Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain’s new responsive website has won two prestigious awards from the leading international awards programme “Communicator Award” in recognition of the bank’s big ideas and efforts in marketing and communications.
KFH-B won the Gold Award of Excellence for the structure and navigation of its responsive website, together with the Silver Award of Distinction for the financial services provided through the responsive website.
“We are delighted with winning these prestigious awards and I thank the hard efforts that have been made in producing the new website. With the use of this latest technology, I am confident that our customers will benefit from its user-friendliness and adaptability,” Abdul Razak Jawahery, Executive Manager at KFH-B, said.
The Communicator Awards honors work that transcends innovation and craft and those projects that make a lasting impact, regardless of company or agency size. The Communicator Awards is known as being the leading international awards programme that recognises big ideas in marketing and communications. Founded nearly two decades ago, The Communicator Awards receives over 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. The Communicator Awards is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of Visual Arts, an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms.
Early 2013, KFH-B redesigned and developed a new corporate website with the latest Responsive Web Design Techniques. The Bank was the first Bank to commercially and globally adopt the latest Responsive Web Design Techniques in its new website. The Responsive Web Design allows the website to adapt itself to any device accessing the site, whether it be mobiles (Andriods, iPhones, or Blackberries), tablets (eg. iPads and Tabs), and laptops or desktops.
It is noted that some of key excellence award winners of this year are The Bill Gates Foundation, Walt Disney and Maserati.
