The security has been beefed up in Bahrain after a terror attack targeting innocent citizens offering prayers mosque on Wednesday evening in Riffa.
A booby-trapped car exploded this evening in the parking of a mosque in Riffa Town, to the South of the capital Manama.
The Interior Ministry said on its twitter account that the terror explosion did not claim any casualties.
The competent authorities and forensic teams rushed to the scene of the explosion and launched an inquiry.
Meanwhile, Southern Governorate Police director-general said that that the booby-trapped car was detonated using a gas cylinder.
