The Kingdom of Bahrain as part of a strategy to keep abreast with the growing power needs is looking at investing $1billion to $1.5billion in establishing a new power generation plant ready for commissioning by early 2016, the Minister revealed on Sunday.
“We need to bolster our power generation capacity in line with the growing demand due to demographic change and increase in industrial capabilities,” the State Minister for Electricity and Water, Dr Abdulhussein bin Ali Mirza told The24X7News.
