The Kingdom of Bahrain will increase the postal service charges as part of implementation of a study conducted by a third party and recommended to enhance the charges.
It is expected that the increase in service charges will yield about BD1.9million extra income yearly to the Ministry of Transportation.
“The Cabinet approved the recommendations submitted by the Ministry of Transportation on the current status of the Bahrain Postal Services, which have been prepared in the results of the study conducted by the ministry in cooperation with the British Postal Consultancy Authority; the Cabinet instructed the Ministry of Transportation to implement the recommendations.”
