Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) announced plans to launch additional 29 flights from Bahrain International Airport to Cairo International Airport, to facilitate the transportation of Egyptian teachers working at the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt.
The extra flights will take place during the period between 4th and 7th of July 2013 in time for the summer holiday, allowing teachers to spend the vacation in their home country.
Vice President of Airport Operations at BAC Mohamed Thamir Al Kaabi requested all passengers travelling on the additional flights to check-in their luggage a day prior to their flights and to arrive at the airport two hours prior to their departure.
“We work closely with our partners in the public and private sectors to ensure easy and comfortable travel experience, especially during the busy seasons. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all officials at the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority, Bahrain Airport Services, and the airline companies for their support and efforts to overcome all the obstacles and arranged for additional flights. I would also like to thank everyone working at the Ministry of Education for their continuous support and collaboration,” Al Kaabi added.

Being operator BAC is responsible for elevating the airport’s infrastructure and services. This set to improve the Kingdom‘s aviation capabilities; and to cater for the growing number of passengers as well as the changing demands of the airport’s stakeholders.
