Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Development Society announced that Farouk Almoayyed has agreed to take the position of Honorary Chairman of the Society. Almoayyed has extensive experience in managing many national companies. Farouk Almoayyed will provide unparalleled support for the efforts undertaken by the Society that aims to help entrepreneurs and SMEs in Bahrain.
Ahmed Subbah Al Saloom, Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Development Society Chairman expressed his thanks and appreciation to Almoayyed.
“Farouk Almoayyed is a successful business man with a track record of achievements and accumulated experience in managing various businesses; he is one of the most prominent businessmen in Bahrain. Almoayyed’s approval of becoming the Honorary Chairman of the Society will contribute to maximizing the efforts undertaken by the Society. I am very pleased to extend my sincere thanks to Almoayyed for accepting the honorary position at the Society,” he added.
“The Society is planning to sign a number of agreements and partnerships with various companies in order to provide long term privileges to Society members in various essential services that every SME needs. This initiative aims to cut-cost through providing consultation as well as discounts that benefit them directly such as accounting services and legal consultations. I would like to invite entrepreneurs to join the society to benefit from the special privileges that we will launch soon,” Al Saloom said.
The main aim of Bahrain SMEs Development Society is to support the economic vision of Bahrain 2030 launched by His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince of Bahrain. The Society will promote and support youth and entrepreneurs to start new businesses and projects in a business friendly environment in order to achieve economic growth.
